So since people are supposedly at the grind stage already, finished the story etc do people still think this game is worth buying or is it still in the wait to buy stage?

Seems like the story takes about 20 hours or so.

Other than that, it's playing with friends doing dungeons and open world stuff.

The dungeons are fun even though I've only done 1 so far. I enjoyed dungeons in wow, swtor and other similar games, it's the main reason I bought Anthem.

If you also like dungeons, there will be many hours of cooperative fun after the 20 hours of story. If you see that as a required grind rather than fun, then probably not.

One thing I'm really liking, you can play with your friends even if they're way ahead of you. Not sure that's also true at the end game though, we'll see.

I hit the grind stage yesterday.

So far it has been rewarding, I hate bullet sponge enemies and the drops I got are getting stronger and stronger, allowing me to wipe the field much faster.

I was running through the entire story line with the Ranger, but yesterday I switched to the Colossus which makes changes up the weapon load out and abilities. Running through a stronghold again with a different Javelin changes up the gameplay enough to keep me engaged for another 30hrs.

After that, I suspect I will probably play less and wait for additional content to arrive.
