My Storm is 350 now, level 28. It handles Hard content very well at this point. 300 with universal components was really rough though - not enough survivability. It's crazy how much better the Storm components are over the universal ones.
How are you leveling up so fast? I just unlocked the Storm last night. It plays very differently, I need to get some good gear for it. What should I be looking for?

The two best combos for the Storm right now are (Ice Blast + Burning Orb) and (Frost Shards + Lightning Strike). Both setups have a primer and a detonator, so you can nuke to your heart's content. Keep everything frozen and go ham. To help with the cooldowns, there are one or two Storm components that decrease gear cooldown, so look out for those.
Don't forget to hover 95% of the time.

After 45 fking minutes of fighting a Luminary on GM2 (who balanced this? why the hell would I not do 3 missions on GM1 in the same amount of time?) the game crashes and I get booted to the main screen. For the 20th time this week. Why can't they register the items you loot at the exact fucking moment you loot them? Is it that difficult?
The Heart of Rage stronghold doesn't work anymore: it starts out empty without any objectives.
I roamed around Freeplay for about 30 minutes and I saw 1 titan - and no other mobs. I couldn't call the other people in the session because there's no ping system.
Anthem is an emotional rollercoaster. One minute I'm having tons of fun, the next minute I'm cursing because nothing works.
I'll come back and play it again in a few months. Maybe.

I am 40 hrs in 400+ on my colossus, about 400ish on ranger, like I said after the Demo this game will keep you busy for a month or two and then its just Destiny all over again, same repetitive missions, same repetitive grinding, I am not saying its a bad game I am enjoying it for the few hrs I play a day but honestly if people plan on playing the division 2 and don't want to waste the money I would just wait it out, if your like me and don't mind spending the $$ for a few months of play then its prolly worth it. I have run into lag, sound bugs and some pretty bad glitches here and there but over all its stable. Outside of switching up javelins to change your playstyle its very repetitive I have yet to try anything past hard level maybe it gets better? Even in my colossus on hard I feel squishy as hell vs certain mobs.
The instances of bugs definitely seems to have picked up yesterday, coinciding with the global release.
The good news is more people are playing Anthem than EA thought would play it - that means more likely to get good support and updates going forward IMO.
The flip side of that coin is it's kinda buggy right now, especially connection to servers.
I'm sure they'll fix it.
PS I've gotten disconnected from fights before but when I load back in there is an easy 1 button "rejoin existing session" feature and I don't think I've lost any loot... Who knows but it's early in the release, I just roll with it.
The good news is more people are playing Anthem than EA thought would play it - that means more likely to get good support and updates going forward IMO.

A second thought, people are often wondering about the "value" of a game.
This game you can buy for $60. Currently I have 40 hours in, so I'm at $1.50/hour.
I can easily see myself getting to maybe 160 hours on this game. I'm at end game, I have 2 level 400+ Javelins, a high 300s and a low 200s. By switching out and playing all 4, and playing with some friends who play a lot and some who don't play much at all, 160 hours over the lifetime of the game seems perfectly doable.
That would make it a $0.375/hour game, which is excellent value if you ask me.
Then again, I love doing dungeon content, so this game is right up my alley.
It would be even better value if they added more dungeons, or more Javelins with different abilities. I believe they intend to add more of both as time goes on, but for who knows at what cost to me, so I haven't considered that in this value calculation.

I can only play for about 2 hrs and I am done hehe, which is kind of nice its not a time sink you can log on and do a bunch of missions and log off no biggie. That being said I will be ready for the division 2 as long as it succeeds where 1 failed I will be playing it over Anthem.
I have been! All you guys are multiple levels above me though so it’s a slow grind.
One of the awesome things about this game is high level players can play with low level players.
It's more punishing for you as the low level, you CANNOT get hit by anything, and you won't do a ton of damage either. But you get more XP by leveling up with your higher level friends than you do by playing solo or by doing the stuff on Normal or Hard mode.
Anyway, group with your friends! Even if they're higher level. It's more fun that way.
