The moment has come I am Delivering my Gaming rig to the shop to get the massive upgrade. they said the Mail screwed me. i will be without computer till Thursday possibly Friday (I am willing to bet they are currently planning to Ferris Bueller my Rig once the upgrades are in place. I don't blame them I would totally do it too)

~2 T1 SSD Soon to be Drive C+D (current C+D to become E+F)
~2 stick - 8 gigs Ram (on top of the already installed 24)
~1 Titan X - upgrade from GTX 770
~Memory card reader....... because why not
~More USB slots... because holy Jesus i need more of them badly for the Cockpit Rig
(Because Stand alone USB extenders/boxes to add more are terrible and they do not seem to work as advertised)

I am Basically on Internet Escape pod right now. AKA Iphone 6. but just like any Escape pod the most you can do is look. read, somewhat post, porn. and remember just how bad it is with out a PC.

Then all that is left for my ultimate Star Citizen Experience is
The Rudder Pedals - on the Pre-order wait list AUG
Oculus Rift - public release Q1 2016
More Ships
Hanger BAR!!!!!!! Object.

Yea. I thought about adding a card reader myself to make it easier to transfer files from the DSLR and GoPro's.

Why not just upgrade it yourself?
I knew this was going to come up. I go through a Company called "PC-Laptops" originally I bought a Gaming Rig Laptop from them well over ten years ago. The thing weighed 10 pounds was about 2 inches thick had a 22' monitor full keyboard back in 2003 unheard of, but at the time it was practically state of the art tech in laptop form. Yes payed crazy for all the laptop miniaturization, well it had a few problems so it was frequently going back to the shop. But due to the warranty they provide the heat sink on the laptop was failing and under the agreement they needed to replace it to save the rest of the system. sadly they could not find the exact replacement. so i was given a newer one that was shaped differently. in turn to make it fit and work we are talking replacement parts across the board and 0$ cost to me. the laptop ended up refurbished brand new with new guts at Zero cost to me.

TLDR-1: Payed crazy for laptop. it broke they replaced it free of charge

A few months later of more hard core gaming the case gave up. the joint to the monitor literally broke out of its frame. exposing the motherboard. i returned it to the shop. and we talked upgrades and better life for the system. we took all the guts and moved it into a Tower. the one you see now. basically its a tower that holds the same warranty. as long as i buy and they install all devices into the system its covered.

TLDR-2: s**t broke non-repairable, we pimped it out into a Tower case

mainly when we switched over i had to buy a new motherboard and graphics card, the one I am replacing now.

Ultimately this company gained my trust. they took as much money from me as they ended up spending to fix my crazy laptop under their guarantee. also they slide a few free things into your system hardware and soft. Also if i Burn up the titan. most i need to do is bring it in for a free replacement. so as long as i did not pour a Slurpee over it.

TLDR-3: you cant buy that kind of trust. and will stand by them and bring them my business.

Also because i know its going to come up. all items have a markup so yes i am paying more then anyone else can find it. but with this upgrade i just purchased this make me EVEN with the company but if something breaks they will be spending more into it.

Dang, yeah, that sounds like a good company. I'd be willing to keep giving them business. Here's hoping you're not in the escape pod too long!

For the memory card reader : I've put one too, it's super useful when you have a old SLR camera with broken usb XD

But Titan X, OH DAMN did you have to sell a kidney ?
just some budgeting and small squandering here and their really. but anyone can do it if you budget properly...........wait is that a bird feeder ship decoration! *joke*

yes even my stand alone monitor is covered in their warranty. but monitors have an expiration the PC is Life. but i think the monitor has at least a year and a half left on it.

I tried the phone based escape pod thing.....my phone barely survived, so, I found a miniature version of my old desktop, in touchscreen laptop form, for less than $600. At that point I realized that my desktop was crap, and after a year, did a major overhaul on it. And somewhere in there I got a little tablet too....
TLDR Don't kill your phone, it is an Apple, it has its limitations.... ;)

Get addicted/readdicted to Clash of Clans or Boom Beach or maybe try Fallout Shelter until all your people die or are too sad to bang. You could also pick up a Final Fantasy game and power through.

Update: Computer returned. the system is Glorious. i have never seen the Hanger so fluid and smooth. i actually got to wander around drive the go cart. look at my fish. and most of all get stuck in the constellation sitting and standing animations... ahhh good times...

Sadly one part did not get replaced. and it looks like it got worse... A clicking has begun in my powersupply. after careful investigation. its only the FAN. so here we go with Warranty Work. by entire Power Supply Block will be getting replaced. the order has been approved and I am just waiting for when i am told to bring it in for round two (but at worst its a 10/20 mins deal. but they need to install it and sign off on it).

Also bonus points. they cloned my hard drive so I am able to install windows 10 on my old drive. and still have functioning windows 7 on the absolute never been written over testing. so far the hour of play i had with windows 10 is nice. i see performance increases all across the board. i will continue to test the system and make sure all my important programs work, if they are and 100% stable i will then format and start the process of just having one OS (Win10) and do a full wipe and install properly. instead of this patch over they did...seriously the pathways are so wonky on the patch over.

I was hoping to get mumble installed and get at least my Controllers properly configured to join in some Friday Flying shenanigans. but sadly it may not be until next Friday. with WIN10 testing/overwriting and Computer Spring cleaning. the power supply switch out. its never a dull day getting they system 100% for flying into the Black

YAY ! pc back!

NOT YAY power case problem!

I have to say that, the warranty you're talking about "replacing it free of charges" ...It's just standard warranty isn't it ?
I don't get the benefit of letting them replace your stuff, unless they have a very long warranty thing.

I mean when my GTX 560 broke some years ago, I've send it back, 2 weeks later they sent a new one with a letter of apology, and gave me a coupon of the cost of sending the card in the first place.
And when my headset broke, I just went to the store I bought it and they replaced it free of charge, that's... quite what a warranty is here fo
