Group Mining in 3.5 - Group Signup ( Channel name is 3-5-Mining)

As you all know, or at least I hope you all know, 3.5 is coming soon™. With it comes ArcCorp and 2 new moons for us to scour for resources and new challenges are sure to be there. CIG has made it a point in this patch(from AtV, I forget which one) to improve the time it takes to get to the surface and off of a planet. If that is the case it will be much easier to do multiple runs on something like Hurston and by extension ArcCorp without each trip in the atmosphere taking 10 minutes. This part was very boring.

My question is would any of you be up for a regular party to go mining in these new locations and other places? We would still do the Industry Events once 3.5 is out but this would be a more regular thing than that to make some money, have a few laughs and see what we can find. Also to update the Mining Guide.

No mining ship currently, but would be happy to tag along as crew or escort in my Freelancer Max. I'm available in the evenings on any day where I don't have wife/kiddo/work aggro, which is unfortunately not always consistent. Central time zone.

Definitely count me in and I'll record too. I think it would be very cool!

Probably any day would work, I'm on MST though, so I'd need to start around 7pm my time which is 9pm EST during the week. Weekends are a little more flexible.

I don't expect everybody to be interested in this, but I'm happy to drop a little real world cash onto a pot to help people get into prospectors. If there are enough people interested we could help some of our fellow members out.

This would require a bit of an honor system here, IE if you make a good living contribute rather than take.

I got mine on eBay with LTI for $159.00

In response to this, we're not here to tell you how to spend your money, its yours to spend but support CIG first and foremost. The prospector is in the store for $155 and also available ingame. If this group becomes a regular thing then a goal of it will be to get everyone involved a Prospector that is borrowing a spare from someone else.
