I have a HOTAS setup and a ton of free time too, which should help. I've screwed around with DCS and KSP and am entirely willing to get blown up in service of higher goals.

First game: Encarta Mindmaze (thanks, Windows 98)

Awesome! I actually learned a lot through Mindmaze, and the Movies and Animation archives. Really takes me back. I figured out that a bunch of the content was from Funk and Wagnal's encyclopedias, so I'd use Encarta for finding the information and then cite the encyclopedia entry. I remember thinking what an awesome digital innovation a searchable encyclopedia was, so that you didn't have to go find a new article in a new volume to continue reading about a related topic!

I wonder if anyone has made a broswer based version?
