Hackintosh Installation Help?

I am looking to installing a Yosemite partition since I am much more used to creating content on the Apple side. Anybody know enough about Hackintoshes to help me out? I have already checked out r/Hackintosh and was just wondering what the general stability is like and whether the trouble is worth it.

MSI Z97 Gaming 7
GTX 970
16GB Ripjaws X
1TB WD Black

Yup I am just installing an extra HD on my gaming rig to run the Hackintosh on. I am actually back in NYC and just starting to settle in, I promise I will be fully online by Saturday :p
