So, just to advocate for what I am currently treating as the best fps weapon in game. . .
If you can gather top quality Riccite, Copper and Aphrodite along with the requisite blueprint, you can greatly improve the already stunning performance of the fast handling Lumin V.
In particular:
The already low recoil drops so much that 3 shot bursts all land on target even out to 70+ meters.
The already high rate of fire improves about 9%, making your burst fire wicked fast.
The damage per hit improves about 6%, which is enough to drop targets in heavy armor with a single, 3 round burst while wearing a suppressor, which extends your magazines to 15 kills each. The buff removes all need to remove the suppressor.
Given the weapon’s light weight and ultra-high speed onto target, this is now my hands down choice against both PCs and NPCs.
When choosing a weapon keep in mind that the time it takes to swing the gun onto target is more important than time to kill, because targets cannot return fire while being hit. However, with the increased rate of fire and 3 round burst sufficient for all targets, the time to kill with this is amazing. No need to carry a heavy weapon that will slow you down and get you killed.
In the past, especially when wearing a suppressor it has been common to squeeze off 2, 3-round bursts to be sure the target is down. Now they always seem to go down, so you save a ton of ammo, and there is seldom a need to carry more than 3 mags (instead of 7). That’s 2 more kilos off your weight, which is a huge big deal for those wanting to avoid being shot through evasion.
