Today in the year 1775 in Tun Tavern 2 battalions of Marines were created to serve alongside the Navy. 242 years later that Navy and Marine Corps team is stronger than ever.

Today they celebrate their 242 birthday!!

I myself was privileged to serve alongside my Marines during my service as a Hospital Corpsman. I am privileged to call you all my brothers. Semper Fidelis Marines, and happy birthday!!
