Help Me Build My One Manufacturer Fleet

I know that it's a dumb idea for practicality, but for role play reasons and possibly swapping ship parts I want to stick to one manufacturer.

Currently my fleet is made up of Carrack, Terrapin, BMM, Dragonfly, and 85x. Was thinking about switching to MISC or Drake as I think their ships provide the most versatility.

I have roughly $800 already invested in the game and I'm looking to reinvest all of it into one manufacturer. Let me know your opinion.

Ship parts arnt going to be based on manufacturer. It's all based off of size of the parts. Shield size 1 will fit on all ships that can take a size 1 shield.

Ahh... didn't know that. I new weapons were interchangeable but I didn't know all parts would be. Never the less I like the idea of brand loyalty. Hopefully it doesn't gimp me to much.

If I was going to do this and I am not sure I would since change is the spice of life and all that, I would first go for the one ship I really really wanted from them all. (If you love mustangs you will end up with a lot). Then look through the others.

I have quite a few drake ships but their only large ship at the moment is the catapillar and it is only a very basic hauler at the moment with little defence. Maybe one day it will be worthy to be the centre point of a fleet but its not there yet.

Figure out what you wanna do most in the verse. Most manufacturers stick pretty close to one or two genres for spaceships. MISC = industry
Origin = mostly racing, etc.

You've got a mjix of manufacturers but some of the best/most interesting and good value ships in the game there.

Melting all of that to go all MISC or all Drake would be a step back.

Drake seems like the most versatile at the moment. You can fight, haul or race. If you want to do any industrial work though then MISC is going to be the best bet. That being said, I personally would rather have a mix of ships so I have options to fit any situation, but I think the RP aspect of being a fierce brand loyalist could be pretty fun.

If I had to do this I would go drake or anvil as they can cover most bases especially the cutlass in terms of versatility. Anvil have an amazing range of ships that should keep you entertained but I don't think I could ever stick to one, I love all the company's apart from maybe agis and even then I love the avenger
