What drew you to Star Citizen?
Well i was playing X universes games for a decade , then i m a huge fan of all science fiction stuff , i mean what's better than watching star wars with a beer ? maybe watching it with more beer ?

What do you look forward to most in Star Citizen? (PVP, Exploration, etc)
I think i m going to play a trader ( it's why i think a huge organization like Test Squadron is good for me, more people = more trade = more money to do) then sometimes fight some others guys in pvp.

What was the first game you remember playing?
Omg , if it's the first game ever i can't recall the name it was on my old atari . My first pc game was baldur's gate 1 i think , then my first mmorpg was asheron's call.

What other games do you play?
i played a lot of game , most of them ar wargames , like rome total war 2 , europa universalis , Endless space ... I m not playing any mmorpg at the moment , i wait for Star Citizen :).

Indeed ^^ , the phoenix is too shiny , i prefer a freelancer DUR for exploring (will be cheaper on fuel), then the Taurus is lacking on firepower . ( for me :p )

That sounds pretty ideal for trading then! I was thinking about it that way too. Reduced cargo capacity just seems too limiting this far out on the Phoenix even if it is shielded from prying eyes! And no way am I ballsy enough to fly a cargo ship with no weapons (like the Taurus!) Of course with an accompanying fleet/mobile physical shield of Auroras, that wouldn't be a problem!

Freelancer DUR seems like the way to go for exploration the more it's discussed! Do you also own one of those or is that something you'll want to get once the game starts? Any other ships?

I got a Freelancer DUR yesterday , Then i think if the Banu MM is on sale again , getting one for trade :D . My plan will be : DUR for exploring , Andromeda for trade at the start then upgrading it for a combat role , Then the Banu MM for trading (i think it will take some few runs with Andromeda before getting the money to fill out the MM). And once the game starts a good fighter if we got a carrier.

About the Phoenix i think people forget , if a ship is destroyed you will have a cooldown, the time to produce it , and i suppose the time to produce a Phoenix will be a lot more longer than a Andromeda. And the Cargo capacity on the Phoenix is without the rover , with the rover it will be less.

The more I think about it, the more appealing and tempting the Banu MM will be for me if they put those ships back on sale in November. Really sort of kicking myself for not looking into LTI ships last November. My big decision was to upgrade from my original Kickstarter pledge of the Digital Scout to the Rear Admiral. But then we really had no idea other that intangible ideas what those ships would be like.

The Retaliator seems to have dropped off in popularity with the removal of it's weapons? Since a lot of people who pledged it Although it seems like it would be a very tough and hardy merchant ship.

I'm still also really interested in the remaining ships that haven't been unveiled/designed, as I think they'll open up some new roles for people to fill.

We'll have the 890 Jump luxury yacht, which I assume will be the premier ship for anyone with more money than sense! (Maybe have a casino on there or something?)

The Carrack could be a really awesome platform for exploration and long range sensing.

We haven't seen anything yet geared toward Mining and Salvaging, so I have a feeling the Orion and the Surveyor could make both of those professions very valuable (whether we end up pledging the ship or earning it in game).

There's just something appealing about working on a gritty mining or salvaging ship.

That is, unless an extraterrestrial bioweapon somehow gets loose on the ship!

Any of the unreleased ships striking your fancy so far? I bet they'll have hefty pledge price tag attached, no doubt!

i have the same feeling about that, maybe that's why i really wanted my Starfarer (closest thing to some sort of factory ship atm)

I think they are going to revamp the retaliator , because well a ship without weapons and with 720 of cargo capacity ? wtf ? xD

Then well i did it xD i took a phoenix upgrade , because i was thinking , if i got a Banu MM for trade , did i need a Andromeda for trade too ? , So my plan is changing a little :

pledge :
Freelancer MAX for fast trade ( able to used all jump point so it can be really more faster than a constellation , then i m pretty sure the cargo capacity on the freelancer will be revamp or it's just you are not be able to transport some heavy stuff , because a taurus cargo is not 7x a MAX cargo , and 4xTR5 on a freelancer i don't think a pirate can intercept you)
Phoenix for escort / combat/ smuggling ( escort the banu MM when i m trading high value stuff ?)
Banu MM for trade ( maybe be something like a trade center ?)

in game priority :
1 : Banu MM if it's not on sale again
2 :Freelancer DUR or Carrack for exploration ( Maybe the Carrack will act like a support ship ? )
3 :a Hornet if needed , if not a M50 for race


Then i can't wait to see what's the HULL C exactly , if they revamp the retaliator how good it will be ? Maybe they are going to release some Human trade ships like the Banu MM ( the HULL C can be this ship but it's lacking on firepower at the moment , and the caterpillar look like it got less firepower and less cargo , could be the retaliator ? ).

About mining salvaging it's not really my stuff . ( but yeah a orion if i can put some npc to mining when i do some others stuff ^^ )

I know i said all this stuff about the phoenix , but well if i skip the trade side , it look like the best combat constellation for me.
