How do you play Star Citizen when you're traveling

I have an MCD-4800 I use when I'm away from a regular internet connection. I usually use this for work, because the data costs can be insane if I'm stupid with it, but it gets the job done. If you are wondering, it looks like this: View attachment 8287

My old work vehicle when I was 17 had an Explorer 727 BGAN installed but I made some stupid decisions financially and couldn't afford the 15000$ loan, had to sell it but ended up paying back the loan so my credit wasn't totally fucked.

I usually plan my trips with long layovers. When the plane lands, I rent a car and drive around looking for houses where no one is home, then I break in and play SC. I have NEVER broken into a house that did not have a computer in it!(usually better than mine). I never steal anything(that would be wrong), but I do occasionally help myself to beer and snacks. If I've hit any of your houses, I deeply apologize, and you will always drink free on my Beerfarer

My solution is not to travel. My last vacation was a week long trip to my basement. When I do begrudgingly have to travel, I never touch important accounts using hotel wifi. At the risk of sounding like I wear a shiny foil hat, it is incredibly easy for a hotel employee to hook you up with a keylogger courtesy of the hotel's network. Just look up "DarkHotel". That was a decade or more ago...

If I am forced to log into an account I care about while I am away, I will tether my cell phone before I hook up through the hotel's service.
