a reliable way to get large parties in an instance together. its a long post but feel free to copy/paste it somewhere for future use. Get the PARTY LEADER in a random universe instance, everyone else on MAIN MENU ("Universe, Arena Commander, Star Marine, Quite Game, Options." Etc)
Party Leader: Using the CHAT COMMAND "/partyinvite PLAYERNAME" add all players looking to participate (note: you do NOT need to be CONTACTS for this to work, but the one sending invites MUST BE PARTY LEADER) Players hit [ to join party once invite sent and white notification shown on the upper right of the reciever's screen
Once 8 players in a party (Party Leader can use the blue F11 menu to check party members/size), leader backs out to main menu (DO NOT LEAVE PARTY), everyone goes to UNIVERSE>CRUSADER>select ALL in blue then > VISIT SPACEPORT (NOT "JOIN THESE FRIENDS")
Once loaded in, players hold Right ALT and hit ? for a cursor and white menu to the lower left, on the white menu hit the 4 lines icon and select "Main Chat" then hit enter and type a message to see if all 8 made it into the instance. Those who didnt, back out and try again (check you dont have USA, EU or AUS selected in server options in Crusader menu)
Once all 8 party memebers are in the instance, disband party (DO NOT LEAVE THE INSTANCE) and party leader starts sending new invites via chat to new members beyond the first 8. REPEAT ALL STEPS until 24 players reached.
