How to play...what to do?

Hi,

it may sound like a stupid question, but I'm curious, how to play SC best and what to do in the Verse at this stage of development.

It's getting a little boring to do this "Repair..." or "ICC Assistance" missions.

So what am I missing and what can I do with my Aurora LN?

Hi Miles, this is a list of the missions available to you currently. It's not pretty comprehensive at the moment, so gameplay can largely involve making your own fun.

I'm currently doing missions to gain credits to buy clothes/armoured-spacesuits/weapons. I plan to do that then be naughty and get my pirate flag so that I can spawn at Grimhex and explore there. If you follow some of the twitch channels (https://www.twitch.tv/captain_richard, https://www.twitch.tv/twerk17, Myre_TEST, RedLir, and many other good ones) then you can see what else people get up to, and often jump in on what they are doing.

Plus of course you can enter the Arena for PvP, racing, Vanduul Swarm, etc and have fun there

Also, the LN is a great ship for Vandull Swarm. I have made to wave 18 several times with mine.

There is racing, and much more.

In Crusader, there are 12 derelick ships in the asteroid field. Each has whiskey and/or cigars that pay you for finding them.

I completely agree with this suggestion, learn to master the LN in VS. Then you will have a good base as a combat fighter, which will be needed in SC to survive. If you practive allot, then you also will earn enough REC to rent and try out other ships.

I am new as well, and I happily spend most of my time finding everything I can crash into.

You can get on the Discord. Then meet up with other TESTies in Crusader, run missions or takeover Kareah, or just borrow their ships and crash them for a change of pace.

Then you are in the right Squardon. You'll be an Admiral in no time.
