They're in the thick of it now. Good luck! It's one of the reasons I live in AK. No hurricanes, tornadoes, snakes, deadly spiders, etc. Sure, we have bears the size of a SUV, moose that want to kick your face off your head, and winters that look like a bad disney movie, but I'd rather that than a hurricane coming to blow my house down.

The wind isn't the only problem....the "storm surge" is, i.e., the water pushed up rivers, combined with the rainfall, which all comes back down the river like a bat outta hell...could take 96 hours or more to subside:
