You can upgrade from the raven lol it has a 200 usd upgrade value. as for the lightning maybe the plan to give it for free if you complete SQ42.
I'm seeing nothing about that on the website. There was apparently a short time where you could, it doesn't look like you can anymore.
I'll have to check again maybe at lunch i have a raven so we will see. The omega was the same maybe they put it in to prevent peopple from being foolish and losing these limited ships.
I just tried it on my raven, I think it had a melt value of 200$ for awhile because those stats are required, but I don't think it ever had CCU's.
Are there any other kind of problems?
i also just confirmed on Reddit it looks like it was never able to be updated maybe this is a new change with new limited ships. I wonder why they put a "200" usd value on the ship. if you melt it you cant get anything from it.

I want my MTV restored too. It was the version from the mid to late 1980's, before they not only changed everything about it but also started multiplying the channel into others just like it. The damned fools should have left it as a Rock & pop station, then had the other version channels they made be for the other genres of music instead of effectively making all of the channels about other types at the expense of their initial viewers.
I think there down fall is when they stopped playing music and did to many stupid reality shows
