Nice system but you wont be gaming on ultra with SLI 980ti's at 60 frames at 4k. I have those cards and 60hz is so 1990s, better of getting a 1440p monitor at 144hz with gsinc, is a thing of beauty!

No need for anti aliasing at that res which is a bonus but if you have ever gone 144Hz there is no turning back, not for me. Id rather something like the super wide curved monitors that are starting to come out now although still not quite there in the specs for me to buy one. I upgraded in Novemeber last year and the improvement is huge over 4-5 years of hardware. Enjoy the new rig.

I like everything except the SLI. Games just aren't there yet to support SLI to its fullest and probably won't be for a few more years. Better of with a 1080 IMHO. That's what I'm planning on doing at any rate.

I would disagree with that....2 way SLI, yes they are supported, nothing new there, had that 10 years ago. 3-way SLI, few games support it properly. 4-way SLI, doubtful any do, have heard instances of performing worse than 2-way. It all comes down to the game manufactures and if there isnt high uptake of the hardware there wont be much optimisation for multiple GPU's. Dont be under the misconception though that 2 GPU's mean double the performance, its all scaled but if you have the money its worth it. 2-way SLI that is, probably not more GPU's than that.

Quick notes, the 980ti is now out gunned. Grab a 1080/1070 instead. Will be a better pick long term.

Much better cases for the money.

If you plan on playing SC your need a bigger SSD. Buy a 500gb or larger. Also the 950 pro may be a better pick as it has the drivers off the bat. No OEM hunting.

Not a great fan controller.

Do you really need such a crazy wifi card?

Just quick notes on the way to work

Trust me, I would have gotten me a 1080 or two if they had been in stock.... the ones that were in stock were marked up a few extra hundred bucks... I already had one 980 ti so I figured i would double my power with another in SLI.

My new rig handles SC 2.4.1 at 4k on very high settings very VERY well.... this thing makes gaming baby butt smooth. Definitely digging my new investment.

Awesome, I love that feeling. (Your avatar too, GO JEB!!)

Similar setup to mine, except I have one GPU since I run at 2k, not 4k... but I might just pick a second up for more fos. I had no idea you could get a 980 TI for $430 right now.

Also, if you OC please let me know what you're getting. I Either lost the silicon lottery or my case/cpu cooler combo is lacking.
