Interesting... the two weapons on each wing instead of the nose turret is an intriguing change.

On a less serious note, at first glance I thought this was a regular hornet with gold plating. That does give me an idea, though... how about a sub-squad called "Bling Wing"?

Concerning the noise mounted weapons, I haven't actually looked at an image of the hornet in some time. There are some nose positioned guns, but they are placed further back in my design, and are kinda hidden by the main intakes. The ball turret guns are actually long range last cannons to be mounted on 300 series craft. I might throw on a couple missile arrays on it later.
