I recommend Seveneves by Neal Stephenson. I'm about halfway through and cant put it down. Its really compelling story about the Moon randomly exploding and the fallout from that event. Earth is essentially doomed and humanity must take to a space ark, which is the hastily upgraded International Space Station.

Huh. I'm intrigued by the concept. I'll keep on eye on this one, after I finish the Dresden Files again.

That does sound interesting. Maybe one to check out while waiting for the next Dresden to release. I miss the days when I could sit in a bookstore for hours trying to find a good book. Previews online just never do most books justice.

Neal Stephenson is the only author whose books I buy before they come out in paperback, I'm a huge fan.
