For Squadron 42 your probably the pilot with NPC gunners so I can see why those turrets would not be an issue for S42. Would I want that in the verse? NO!
If the retaliator is featuring in Squadron 42...........

You know, I don't mind it TBH. I think if they do redesign it, two identically sized bomb bays would be a good upgrade, but they've already upgraded three of the turrets to size 3 which was a very decent move. Give the engineering room a chair, make the cockpit be an ejector seat... You've solved most of people's problems with the ship.
