Im an idiot - Star Citizen fix AMD card issue with Fury X ( after i sent them back ).

YUP, title says it all.

Last patch i had 15 to 25 frames in hanger and up to 35 in game with 1 fury and 2 only just got to about 50 max, so i decided to send one back and sell the other..
and This patch they fixed it and the R9 FURY X gets 45 in hanger to solid 60 in game.. And i've already sent one of them back now.

I should of waited. But oh well I guess. Too late to get the card back now, guess ill just wait for the refund to come through and buy the 980ti as originally planed =/

Do what I plan, grab one of the Zotac 980 Ti reference from OCUK for 498 and then grab the EVGA hydro AIO 980 Ti cooler from Scan.

It's a great warranty over clocking dream for 587 cheaper than buying the full deal from EVGA plus you can sell the reference cooler ^_^
You should be able to OC the card (depending on your silicon luck) to 1500 which will stuff a Titan X

What the greatest irony would be is if the R9 Fury X performs better in SC than the 980 Ti's. That'd never happen like, but it'd be very ironic.

What you should do Horizons, is send an angry email to the customer service of the store, and make clear that they have no right to hold your returned Fury hostage and demand it back. Explain that you've had a change of heart and that we all makes mistakes. Also hint a lawsuit (helps a lot, never hurts to try)

Well , star citizen is still an alpha, it's not really optimized yet so if the game is having trouble on a good machine, you should first blame the alpha part, not the machine.
But still, a 980ti is a pretty awesome card, better than mine, and I play @60fps all the time so you'll be ok.
