I'm trying to learn GIMP (a request)

So I'm trying to learn to use GIMP in order to contribute to the glorious propaganda machine. However, I'm finding it extremely hard to find models to use (pics of Auroras, rabbits, etc.). Could someone who isn't totally inept at photo alteration create a depository or something for people who want to learn the art to download? What I mean is basically just a collection of pictures and icons that people can download to use for propaganda creation without having to spend hours googling and scissoring out their own.

What I have done so far to various degree of success is to load up anything posted by compoetent members of the subreddit, hit print screen and cut out the pieces I like.
