Video by itsJoJoTv on YT. Worth watching all the way through.

Lots of solid information directly from John Crewe. Some from a special 'SC not so Live' taped for the event, and some answers from a Q&A he gave while there.

A Spoiler for those wise in the ways of CCU.. if you want a Perseus and don't have one yet, Invictus will MOST LIKELY be the last chance to get it at the current price.

OceanOdyssey posted this in spectrum for those that would rather read

  • All ships in the near future will be nameable.
  • Doors will be strengthened to make breaches harder.
  • Missions designed exclusively for capital missions are planned.
  • Torpedoes will have a minimum range to prevent their use at close range.
  • The Idris M will have superior armor to the P.
  • Turrets will receive additional buffs to make it easier to shoot smaller ships, however this requires additional weapons to differentiate further between ship sizes.
  • The Javelin will have a resistance to smaller weapon sizes, with S5 and up having a normal impact, S4 having a reduced impact, while anything below that will have "no hope".
  • Capital Ship shields will be able to regenerate despite incoming damage as long as the attacking ship or ships weaponry are below a certain threshold of weapon size.
  • Flak is coming, which will act as AOE projectiles that are specifically designed for use on Capital Ships against smaller vehicles. They will be automatic, similar to PDCs.
  • A confirmation that additional game packages are still planned to represent an additional character/npc.
  • After Avionics blades come AI blades.
  • The Javelin will not have an enclosed hangar to park in.
  • PDCs will continue to shoot at attacking spacecraft.
  • In the future crimes will eventually result in UEE retaliation, all the way up to Javelin-level responses.
  • Ship missiles will eventually be able to be loaded internally, including their upcoming PDC counterparts, utilizing a space similar to the currently available freight elevators.
  • The eventual release of the player Javelin will be fully armed, including its 2 S10 main guns.
  • Eventually there will be a way to earn the A-Tier components through PVE.
  • Perseus will be flyable come IAE, with its main turrets replaced with 2 S8 hardpoints. It will have also 4 PDCs and 2 dual S3 remote turrets.
  • Apollo is in active development.
  • Pioneer will not release this year.
  • The Polaris Control Panel will most likely be moved to the upper level.
  • Elevator speeds will increase at some point.
  • A Consolidated Outlands medium-sized ship was confirmed.
  • A larger-than-a-Javelin "battleship" is being worked on in the future, currently split between going to Aegis, Anvil, or RSI. They also reference the previous "battlecruiser" referenced through the stretch goals as being sold "at some point".
  • The Javelin will be getting the previously mentioned flak weapons.
  • When asked about the Idris P, John Crewe was intentionally vague saying that the answer on its release will become clear at Invictus this year (it's coming folks)
  • The updated Idris model will not come until Squadron 42 releases properly, however they note the differences are minor internally.
  • The Nautilus is out of date mechanically and isn't worth thinking about right now.
  • The Vanduul Cleaver is not going to be flyable as it's just a cutscene in Squadron 42.
  • An orbital airdrop module is desired from John Crewe, but it's not currently in the cards.
  • A larger interceptor ship will appear.
  • The Javelin's torpedo can be used as a cruise missile, however it cannot be guided. They do say that it is a maybe in the future for human-guided missiles.
