I saw that it was only available if you beat Vanduul Swarm, which prompted me to do so as I usually left my matches around wave 12. But now I find myself wondering if it's really that great of a ship or even worth the money. I'm probably gonna rent it and try it for a bit but I still would like to ask -

Who all has one and what are your thoughts?

Firstly vandul weopons are currently "balanced" so you can beat them in vandul swarm, this is reflected in the current vandul ships. They are not balanced against other fighters available nor is there in anyway any pay to win element included in the cost.

This is alpha so you have to trust if buying one that they will get balanced to be more effective at some time and of course like the look. I have literally just melted my blade (for which the Glaive is the loaner) and even though on paper its rubbish I really like the look. Sadly I didn't want to put more money in and decided hammerhead had more use as an escort vessel.

Well after a short while flying I can say it's extremely agile, but yeah the weapons are definitely sub-par, I remember when I first started the plasma cannons would wreck my shit in 1 shot. I like how it moves, but I think I'll have to pass on it and just pick it up later down the line or in the release of the game if its available.

fun ship to fly, agile, fast, weapons are ok, but ship is total glass cannon, ship is supper squishy. If you want more firepower, i think Vanguard ships are far better, and can take damage as well. Hell for that money you can buy a Constellation that has 4X size 5 weapons.

some pirate swarm i did a while ago with it.

I just melted mine last night for a Hammerhead or a player to be named later. I used to like to take it out to Kareah and scare the shit out of noobs.
The chat usually went like this:
NOOB1: "Holy shit! WTF was THAT!"
NOOB2: "I don't know, but it was pretty easy to shoot down, and he never even came close to hitting my ARGO!"

Have to agree. Only stole 1 so far from the 2.6 server and did not like the ships interior interface that much. The flying and fighting offer the usual experience, but the ship is not worth the money imo.

And that comes from the guy, who wants swords and spears + ships that can ram and kill.
Had my eye on the Glaive for a while now, but the Terrapin Turtle will likely offer more fun due to it being a cannonball. Dreaming of the days, when i will ram into a capital ships engine, weapon system or the bridge and then saying "Sorry! Did not see you there!"

Haven't liked it so far, but we'll see after some balance passes. Not planning on purchasing one, gonna try to capture it in game.
