Hi all,

for giving us a "marketing-" or "announcement-"platform I'm creating this thread.

Perhaps you've recognized that the community of Star Citizen more and more is ignoring the search function within the issue council. Instead, it seems every single gamer opens a new ticket. This results in a tsunami of new tickets which then remain unrecognized because most of them barely reach 10 contributions.

So, I would be happy if you could take a look into this thread and the linked issues, we TESTies (will) report within the council. PLEASE take some minutes, try to reproduce the bugs and - contribute. This will help us all for a better gaming experience within SC in the future.

Thank you all very much in advance!
Cheers,
Sam

Thank you for this report.

1. There will be a new & improved IC very soon with a much better search feature.

2. People have been told that the more reports they file the better chance they will have to become an Evocati tester. NOT TRUE.
Contributing to existing reports is vital and counts the same as making a new report. If fact, Contributing to existing reports is actually better as those with less than 10 Contributions expire after 30 days.
[USING the IC is what is important. Not the number of reports you make.]

3. Search - at present = Try one word (Reliant) then quickly scan for a report similar to your problem.
Next try a second word (Reliant flight) .
This is the most effective & quickest to scan the IC reports.

Finally, we are all TESTers. Look through the IC and try to reproduce bugs if possible and then Contribute to the report We all what SC to be the BDSSE and we are PTU testers.

Thanks to @AstroSamatha for posting this. This is an important issue.
Cheers.

I've recognized an animation bug at the Connie Aquila within the hangar module. This is completely new. Perhaps CIG is redesigning the Connie Aquila? Because I haven't found any smiliar reports, I've opened a ticket. Please re-check and contribute as the case may be. Thanks a lot in advance!

*bump*

As there is only 1 confirmation yet: please contribute!
Many thanks in advance!

Oh thank the Lord Jesus. The issue is a lot of issues don't get reported or re-confirmed, especially, graphic ones, or less obvious ones. Can we maybe sticky this thread please? I think it needs to be up at the top permanently, because the lack of reporting is getting serious.

Here's my contributions:

1. (Shameless Plug) Issue with textures around Grimhex. https://robertsspaceindustries.com/community/issue-council/star-citizen-alpha/SC-28242-Grimhex_Asteroid_Surface_Texture_and_Lighting_Bugs

2. If you want to use that /smell emote in the lifts or elevators, or indeed at all, you need to report this so it gets fixed: https://robertsspaceindustries.com/community/issue-council/star-citizen-alpha/SC-29511-_2_5_0____smell_emote_not_working

3. This one is easy to look at now that the 350r is available to fly: https://robertsspaceindustries.com/community/issue-council/star-citizen-alpha/SC-28818-Lag_pips_missing_in_325a__350r_hud

4. Grimhex airlock graphics glitches: https://robertsspaceindustries.com/community/issue-council/star-citizen-alpha/SC-27415-_2_5_0h__flickering_texture_inside_of_airlock_at_GrimHEX

@Sam K Macer I don't think they are going to do anything with the Aquila, it's still the old model. The new one should be here SOON(TM).... And, one can only hope it looks, at least, as good as the Andromeda.

P.S. And if it looks better, I might start melting things again.....

This bug is confirmed, but we need some more data on how it happens IMO. Something more verbose, or "understanding". I managed to get and clean my record today. The story is in a reply to one of the most recent contributors (because I cannot edit the main entry) making suggestions. I mean, that's like the best I can do here.

In completely other, but still bug-related news, we need more reports and confirmations in general on the graphics-related bugs (like hatched textures). Those seem to not get confirmed if they do get made.

Well, since 2.6.0 is released, there are lots of new bugs and issues to be reported. I already confirmed some of them as well as opened a couple of new ones. I would be thankful if you could take a look onto them:

  1. 2.6.0 CRYASTRO UNRESPONSIVE WHEN IN ALTERNATIVE CAMERA MODE: https://robertsspaceindustries.com/community/issue-council/star-citizen-alpha/SC-33904-2_6_0_CryAstro_unresponsive_when_in_alternative_camera_mode

  2. 2.6.0 INVISIBLE CHATBOX:

Thanks and cheers!

Anyone have an issue with the Cutlass Pirates being way way harder to kill than the other pirate ships? I'm talking 35-50 confirmed hits on a cutlass with a freelancer (tarantulas), compared to 12-15 hits on a 300 series pirate.

Yeah, they are nearly indestructable. Fought one single Cutlass for 5 minutes - at least - and finally we managed to shoot her down with four(!) players.
That said, I'm having a real problem fighting with/in the SuperHornet due my inability to find the weapon regroup option in this ship, hm.... O_o
