Issues with the key binding

Every time there's a new patch I have to remap EVERYTHING to my X52 Pro HOTAS, even if I copy-paste the old profiles to the new User folder. Any idea why?

maybe you should save your profile and with a new patch import it.
Saving a profile goes under:
options -> keybindings -> advanced controls customization -> control profiles -> save control settings.
Importing that profile can be done under the same menu, but I prefer the console option:
[tilde key] -> pp_rebindkeys <filename> [tilde key]

if you copy and paste your profile, it is possible that your old profile isn't compatible with the new patch, or whatever, in your case it just doesn't seem to work. If you import your saved profile, the new profile which in all cases should work, is being used. Your changes are imported on the new profile.
