With the release of the Carrack they are updating the 2948 Explorer and Explorer Megapack to a 2950 version. Not sure if the ships will change but it will be more expensive!

Today may be the last day if 3.8.2 goes live.

It'll be based off the Carrack being $500.00 now, I think the explorer pack's current price as of 2020/02/27 is based on the Carrack's original $350.00 sale price.

The expedition wariant of the Carrack only is 640 warbond... 762.50$ regular... the standard non-exploration variant should be around 30$ less

Current pricing is based on the $350ish original price. Currently it's $500 and is why the pack is such a deal.

I believe the Carrack itself may increase in price with the flight-ready model. Perhaps to $550-600 while offering a $500 Warbond. The exploration pack may be repackaged based on $500 for a little savings over the new Carrack price.

But whether the Carrack itself increases or not, we know the packs are going up, possibly between $100-150 to offset the current Carrack price.

I'm thankful that I pounced on purchasing the Exploration Pack when I did. I hope that mine will come with the special skin, but if not then I'll just get it painted by Anvil in game after that feature becomes available.

Sadly its probably due to all the extra man hours it took for the new remake. What i dont understand is... the standalone is 625(non-warbond) for the carrack expedition then the Carrack with C8x is 620 usd but when you try to upgrade to the expedition with C8x its 640?(25 usd) what kind of nonsense is that. it should be 5 usd so that it matches the standalone price.

I knew it was coming so I melted my old pack and bought 2 Exploration. Then wanted to melt those to buy the Megapack so it's in buyback. But it went live today instead of tomorrow so they took those down for the expensive ones.

But in preparation of melting my two packs after the 24 hours, I had the Megapack in my cart. Got it today after it stopped being sold! Lol, gottum!

Congrats yeah i bought my exploration pack during the last Carrack sale from concierge was some very big savings and now id say it was the best choice i could have made Now lets hope the carrack lives up to its name.

No idea. I didn't see an option for it because I wanted some of those in my buyback as well.

I'm just irritated by the lack of clarity. The way it looks, if I use the 5 dollar livery upgrade, I may loose my already purchased c8x expedition, which makes no sense at all.

I've learned my lesson when it comes to upgrades. Don't apply them unless:
1. The ship you're upgrading to is currently flight ready and proven to work.
2. You're 100% sure you're not going to melt that ship/package.
3. Have a backup CCU just in case you do melt.
