Fellow TESTies, I'm trying to make a pretty thing for my GF, and I could use some advice. I want to make a heat blued hex pendant from the head of a bolt. I've got access to a machine shop, so I know i'll be able to get the nickel/zinc off, but I don't really have any experience with polishing or bluing. I've got no buffing wheel, but I've got a pane of glass I think I could use as a lap? I was thinking about getting emery paste off amazon for polishing, but I'm open to better ideas!
