Glad to see mining and the prospector moved up. Now, I don't expect this to be final gameplay type where we find out if/how much protection we need to hire/bring, but if will give us an early idea on how the mechanic might work once game goes live.
This will be an interesting time and give us a much more solid base for Black Sunder's theorycrafting on how the group might need to be organized.
Also, note that at least some hauling was supposed to be in 3.0 as well. Not sure if 3.0 will include transfering ore from mining ship to transport (might just be transport from one location to another), but if it does, that's yet another checkbox we can mark as well.
