Thought I should do one of these, I'm Kersakov, on here, RSI, Steam and pretty much everywhere across the internet (Except for a few imposters in certain places). I'm 21 and am in the last few months of a Computer Systems Engineering Degree. I'm sponsored by the Royal Navy to be a Weapons Engineering Officer and I start full time training in Spetember.
Where you from stranger?
I'm from Gloucester which is West England; for the Americans, its our equivalent of your corn states, all we do is farm and drink. I'm currently, living in West London though, finishing my degree.
What drew you to Star Citizen?
It's sheer awesomeness. Can't remember how I found it but I pledged about a year ago, I've kinda avoided it a bit as I couldn't handle being excited for a game that was so far away but now I want to get into the community a lot more.
What do you look forward to most in Star Citizen? (PVP, Exploration, etc)
I really don't know, I'm one of those people that wants to do everything. I'm pretty interested in the FPS module and I'm also looking forward to big space battles on multi-crew ships. I'm a big fan of open-world games though and I expect to jump around between mercenary, cargo hauling, escorting etc. as well.
What was the first game you remember playing?
Pokemon Blue on Gameboy Classic and the original Command & Conquer on a neighbours Windows 98 Computer. That pretty much held me up to the PS2 era really, my parents didn't and still don't like me playing computer games.
What other games do you play?
I jump around a lot but I'm a big fan of open-world games like Skyrim and Fallout; I'm also currently really into Assasins Creed. Other than that I'm big into Strategy and City/Empire Building games like Age of Empires, Civilisation, Total War, Anno 2070, Simcity etc..
I'm also impartial to an FPS now and again although I'm really quite bad at them. Mainly Call of Duty, little bit of Halo and Battlefield.
How did you first hear about Test Squadron and what convinced you to join?
I spent a while looking for an organisation to join but couldn't find one that would work for me. I wanted somewhere that I can play seriously, maybe RP a little bit but wouldn't be expected to just do that as I am also a big fan of drunk gaming and basically pissing about. I also needed somewhere that I can dissapear for months at a time and come back without being kicked on account of being in the early stages of a Navy Career.
Then along came Test. I was interested at 'Best Squardon' and I was sold completely about 2 minutes into State of the Squadron.
Picard or Kirk?
I say Picard but that is purely because I love Patrick Stewart, I've never really seen Star Trek I'm a Star Wars guy <Hides from hate>.
I blame being British and young etc...
I think its probably majorly my kind of thing but I'm worried if I start watching that I'll definately fail my degree.
Wow that's quite a big essay, sorry.
TL DR: 21, British, Alcoholic, Navy Officer, Doesn't watch Star Trek
