I am a proud Beta owner as well for the simple reason of going up to my mates who own 300 series and saying: hey guys im gonna go to the toilet, then make a pizza in the oven, get some stuff out from the drawers, watch some tv, have a nap and then continue on. and you guys in the mean time have fun with your leather interior :P
in all seriousness I just love the way it looks and feels like a space camper van. with guns!! :O

You can trade it for a Gamma and then cross chassis the gamma for an avenger if you like. Total cost $5 dollars I think. SO it might not be meltable but it is certainly upgradeable.

The Omega can be upgraded to a Gamma for FREE... Then you can upgrade to the Avenger for $5 and then you can upgrade to the Delta for another $5. $10 bucks and you have my favorite ship to fly in dogfighting. Now as strong as the Super Hornet; but a lot more fun to fly.

Waiting now for the Super Delta.... Hype train engage!
