See, I'm Deaf. But I can speak English fairly well. So I want to work on tweaking my microphone (I use a ModMic) setup to make it conductive to issuing instructions.
Is there anyone who's willing to help me with that, both on Mumble and elsewhere? Currently, my hearing is banjaxed due to an ear infection (inflammation of the eardrum), so this is just me looking for people I can work with once the infection clears and my hearing normalizes (for me).
Eventually, once the mic is calibrated and set up properly for Mumble, I'll also try using Mumble for some Vanduul Swarm Coop test sessions to see how we can communicate effectively. :)
It's better for me to start getting experience with voice coms as early as possible. The only big catch? I can't make out what people say on Mumble or any other VoIP system for that matter. So it's more like a one-way comm system for me. >.>
