Its so large the pixel density is crap at that size. At 27" look at a 2560x1440 instead

In that case, I'll probably have to save up for a videocard upgrade first. Still, told me what I needed to know.

Warren another consideration is how far away from the screen you are going to be. That resolution will be fine if you are like me and sit fairly far from the screen. I sit 48 inches away for my 24 inch monitors. For 27 inches, that resolution will be fine if you sit about 4.5 feet away. I'm still waiting on my cockpit frame to come in though before I get new monitors, might be the time for 27 inch ones though depending on seat distance from the monitor frame.

Wait what? It didn't even occur to me to look for that. Definitely glad I held off. That and the fact that I'd have to dip into savings to do so, which is no-no for all but good sales...
