I would have to agree.

While VR is considered a bit gimmicky by many, it is ready to become more mainstream.

Every single one of the "I dont play games" adults I make try out my quest, love it.

Ive seen neighbor friend go from "Haha! He looks so stupid playing with that thing on his face!" to "Beat saber is amazing!" in 5min flat.

I saw a demonstration of an Oculus Rift being used for people who have vision impairments last year. It looked a little odd, and you need a lot of battery to use it like that, but as a proof of concept it did the job.
