Paragon will go into closed beta on 18Mar2016, open beta will be "summer", and will launch for PC and PS4. This game will be cross compatible so no matter which one you want to play on we can all still play together. This is a MOBA (multiplayer online battle arena) with the 3rd person view on the Unreal Engine from the makers of games like Gears of War. The high fidelity and smooth gameplay you expect from premium games in a free to download, free to play game.
Starting 14Mar2016 you can buy a founder's package from 20 dollars and up. What you get from that is costumes for the characters and boosts for exp in order to lvl outside of each fight and unlock in-game cards faster, as well as closed beta instant access. Only things that do not affect the gameplay of each game will ever be for sale for this game. They fully intend to not make it pay to win. EVERY CHARACTER IN THE GAME IS UNLOCKED!! EVEN WHEN THEY RELEASE A NEW HERO!!! That means that if you start the game late you still have every hero unlocked.
You will use "Cards" to make a "deck" that determines your setup during the game. These cards are only obtainable by playing the game and will never be sold for RL money. These cards are potions, items, and abilities you choose before you start a game and when you level up you will choose between the cards in your deck to get your items. In each fight you can upgrade each card with different upgrades each game. Allowing a high level of customizability but not giving you the League of Legends 10billionquatrillion item list.
There are lots of gameplay reviews on youtube since they recently allowed Alpha players to be able to release gameplay videos.
On the 14th I assume they will be giving you more to do on the website besides just sign up for the beta. But once closed beta starts I will be playing this game quite regularly. If anyone wants to join me in games feel free to hit me up and post your names so we can add each other as friends. I would also assume that leadership will support people using discord as voice comms when playing.
