Is this what the "Security Guard" missions are? Are people active on that mission supposed to stop you from hacking it? I've only taken that mission once and I sat inside/outside the building "guarding" it for like 30 minutes and nothing ever happened except my ship being blown up on the pad outside with no one in sight. I was so confused.
**I'm still very noob lol. Even though I've played more than a few dozen hours already, I have not once been a criminal. I don't really fly in the PU much as of right now, because seeing this beautiful game (and trying to dogfight) at 14-30 fps hurts my soul (especially on a 165hz monitor xD). I mainly do the other schtuff in the game right now. When 3.0 comes, I'll get over it lol.

I don't really understand whats going on here. You are to create a shortcut to the .exe on your desktop, then edit the directory by adding "+map DFM_Crusader". How do you edit the .exe? Why create a shortcut on the desktop? I feel like it is explained very very poorly here. Or I am a fucking idiot lol.

I suggest to edit command line in the shortcut ... not like it makes any sence, but I heard it is possible to do, and I don't know at all how to edit .exe directories and who they are :(
Youtube vids that I have watched are all more complicated that that reddit post and involve some 3rd party program.

Thing is when you removed your crime stat you have to fly back to Olisar and land and get out of ship then you can log out, it should log you back at Olisar next time. If you failed and still spawn at HEX then you need to redo the last hack and get to Olisar when it is done last step need to be done over and over until you land at olisar or last crime stat will remain.
I also always go inside Olisar before loging of to be shore I am there and it have registered that crime stat is gone :beer: :beers: never failed me once to get rid of the crime stat this way. :beers:

Oh, for this, you just need to create the shortcut from the exe file in the folder you installed the game to, not the desktop updater launcher. It's usually somewhere along this path (Your drive:\Cloud Imperium Games\StarCitizen\Public\Bin64\StarCitizen.exe) with your drive being C or E or whatever folder you installed SC into.
Then once you create the shortcut to the exe file, you right click the shortcut and edit the shortcut target on the second tab so that it has the " +map DFM_Crusader" at the end of the path, and apply it. The shortcut will now open to a offline version of Crusader.
You can now move the shortcut to the desktop for easy access, or leave it wherever you want.
