Polaris $750

So I was trolling about on the SC subreddit and happened across this, which seems to imply that the RSI Polaris has been confrimed at the $750 price point. Unfortunately, I cannot confirm as I can't see RSI.com at work, so if some enterprising test member cares to, could someone please confirm my confirmation?

Same, but th price is right. If the looks and layout are there, I have most likely found my new baby.

I'm nopt so sure; this is significantly cheaper than the idris was ($1500), which started life as a 150 meter corvette before balooning into the 250 meter frigate she is today. $750 for a 150 meter ship is not neccesarily insane pricing. If you want to get into the larger multicrew life, you don't have a ton of options, but there are the carracks (120+ meters) and merchantmen (100+ meters) out there for around 400-450 if memory serves.

750 is about what I was expecting to be honest. Roughly half the price of the Idris last time it was sold.

I only hope it will be a time limited, rather than # limited sale. Those are always giant clusterfucks.

Some fluff they did earlier this week mentioned how RSI specifically went to Militia groups to get feedback on the design, so I reckon that there will be a "unlimited" Civilianish hull available, and then the milspec version which the UEE uses which will (most likely) not be sold.

Similar to how the Javelins were sold sans weaponry, and the Idrises (bar the original 100 milspec ones) are the stripped down "Peacemaker" variant.

EDIT #1: This Concept Sale will not be stock limited.

It seems CIG finally learned from past mistakes.

750$ is where it was to be expected, I won't buy one, since i'm not much of a Combat-Player and also don't want to spend that much... but I surely wouldn't mind taking a look at one once it arrives. :P
