Other Prospector mounting head

Not a newb but I haven't mined in quite some time. I've got a prospector but the component kiosks keep telling me there's insufficient space to mount a Lancet head and the additional attachments. My Prospector is at that location, it is stored as well, what's going on? How do I get this done please?

Well there are actually two different sizes of mining head: S1 and S2: the Prospector mount a S1 mining head while the front turret of the MOLE is actually the only one to use the S2.
So while shoping for minnig head be sure to check the size, since both S1 and S2 have the same exact name and errors are easy.
Good thing is now you can sell back the (eventually) wrong purchase to the shop, even if you get back just a fraction of the initial cost (no return policy in SC sadly) is better then nothing.

Also make sure your storage location is set to the station. Mine usually defaults to my backpack at kiosks, and sometimes I forget to reset it and have to go back to the menu.

You'll find it at the upper left, in the first filter drop-down menu if you haven't used it before.
