Expect your pixels to be 10% more expensive but not 10% more fun.

On the plus side we still have all manner of deadly spider, snakes and jellies.

Is GST similar to VAT?

Edit: Wikipedia says yes. Well, Europeans have had a ~20% VAT for decades... but no deadly spiders :/

We have had gst for some time but some exvaptions existed like digital goods and fresh fruit and veg. It came out in the 90's under the howard years in an attempt to create a fairer tax system. At the time it almost lost him the election but he won and the gst was legislated.

Im a fan of higher tax rates. I do ok and most of my money goes into savings. Where someone with less is likley to spend all of theirs and help the evonomy more through purchase of goods and services.
