Courtesy of CIG's timely communications, we now know that several ships had their prices increased in the past few hours, then dropped to their original price, with the price increase now pushed back to June 27:
In the past we've shared that the team regularly reviews the value of offerings and may make price adjustments based on their findings. In this case, the Avenger Titan, Cutlass Black, and Vanguard Hoplite were adjusted (+5, +10, and +5). We certainly prefer providing advance notice, as we have recently done for the Anvil Hurricane, and we fully intend to continue this practice in the future. For the time being, we're going to revert these prices until June 27th to provide a proper grace period.

Those changes are:
Avenger Titan is going from $55 to $60 - A CCU (can use credits) from one of the following may be useful in CCU chains:
100i, 85x, Ursa Rover, X1 Force.

Cutlass Black is going from $100 to $110 (goodbye savings on the "Cutlass Black - Nova" WB CCU's CIG was selling up until yesterday...) - A CCU (can use credits) from the following may be useful in CCU chains:
Reliant Mako

Additionally, If you have "Cutlass Black to C1 Spirit" CCU's in your buyback (or hangar), you might want to consider whether you will want\need them before that time, as they will become $0 CCUs at that point (Some value will return when the C1 releases and increases in price).

Vanguard Hoplite is going from $235 to $240 - A CCU (can use credits) from the following may be useful in CCU chains (This ship will supposedly be available in the store prior to the price increase):
Scorpius Antares

Somebody at CIG screwed up. The price increase announcement is in the thread complaining about the price increase.
That's opposite of what it should be, the complaining about the price increase should be in the thread announcing the price increase.

Ah well. Now we know, and got a chance to make use of it.
A $5 increase in the $200+ range is nonsense though.

It's a useful bridge from the Scorpius Antares (If you picked up WB CCU's to it) to the MSR WB CCU from a Hoplite (again, if you picked any up), or from the Cutlass Steel once the increase takes effect...

The Avenger Titan is likely to be the most useful, due to the rarity of low-value ship's with WB CCU's (or, in this case, credit CCU's that provide a discount).

The Cutlass Black is complicated - Lots of people have WB CCU's from it that are "losing" value, including the Nova from the just-ended sale, but like the Avenger Titan, you can get a "savings" CCU for $5 (cash or credit) from the Reliant Mako in the low cost ship range which doesn't historically have a large number of these offered. Given it hasn't had a WB CCU in some time (if at all), a "bridge" CCU would have been needed for any chain containing a CCU from it, so the price rise is simply forcing people to buy (cash or store credits) this now, rather than when closing the chain, and will either add $10 savings, or "return" the $10 savings that was lost from an earlier CCU.

Note that upgrading to the Cutlass is currently counted as upgrading to a 100$ ship, despite showing 105 in the upgrade store.
So a Gladius to Black is 10 IE.

But

Upgrading from a Cutlass makes you save 5$, as the upgrade is counted from a 105$ ship.
So a buyback or a Black to C1 will cost only 5$ IE.
Same for a Black to Freelancer/Hornet/Centurion that is available in the upgrade shop.

Technically this is a "free" 5$ jump to those ships if you have spare credits and can also secure a CCU to a Black.
Someone did something wrong I guess when rushing to reverse the price raise.

Edit : seems it has been corrected in the last 5 hours ;) Cutlassis back at 100.
