Star Citizen Alpha 3.21.1 PTU went to Wave 4 today. It is a good time to... visit Pyro in the Tech Preview channel for the last time before it goes down on November 10.
For those of you who have an access to the Pyro PTU, I recommend you to set Checkmate as your home base. It's s safe and cozy place. Well... maybe not cozy, but at least it's warm. And wet.

Checkmate Station, formerly designated PYAM-FARSTAT-2-4, is a space station that orbits the star of the Pyro system in the L4 Lagrange point of Monox (Pyro II). Originally constructed as a resupply satellite for workers on Monox, it was abandoned when Pyrotechnic Amalgamated went out of business in 2563. Various outlaw gangs have laid claim to it, sometimes changing the station's name to reflect who controls it. Currently, the Rough & Ready gang are in charge, and are responsible for its current moniker. The group allows travelers through Pyro to stop at Checkmate Station to refuel their ships, purchase supplies, and indulge in entertainment.

Is anyone spotting signs of slavers? IIRC this was offered as characteristic of the region some years ago, and I recall making a mental note to prey upon Pyro for their sins. Seemed they deserve some grief. Any signs of slavery? Slavers, blechh! Kill ‘em all I say. Once beta hits this is supposedly the kind of place a very large org could take control of, and worth trillions. Just need to kick out the hive of scum and villainy.

like Portland, Oregon it is a shithole but it is my home LOL
I lived in Portland in the 80’s and early 90’s, and at that time it was beyond doubt the most beautiful city I had ever seen in the US, second only to Leuven Belgium. It pains me still how that city has been trashed by the demon hordes and no one fights back. So much graffiti on so much polished marble, so many places boarded up, so many youths walking the streets looking for trouble. It has indeed become a shit-hole. So terribly, terribly sad.

Day once was you could visit the art galleries and sample the wares of hundreds of artists from the region, while sipping free champaign and taking in David Sanborn and Kenny G. I’m told all that is gone now. So sad.
