The ability to see a picture/video clip without having to click a link is nice and all, but when it comes to a IM service that is basically a stripped-down version of a forum, it's a feature that gets old pretty fast. Because they are incredibly resource demanding, since the chat needs to reload the embed each time someone replies. Also, they can be an annoying interval in discussions and conversations as it takes up several lines of space.
Is it possible to turn off this feature? If so, might I humbly request that it is removed as soon as it is possible?
