Saw him years ago at a convention.

Everyone was queued up to get autographs signed by more contemporary guests (Dude from the Walking Dead, Dude from Lord of the Rings, etc) and not many people approached him. Felt kinda bad till I saw how much he charged for an autograph....yikes. Seemed like a friendly dude overall though. RIP.
