Road to 5K?

Glorious Leader says we are nearing another milestone in our org history. I quote from Reddit from Glorious Leader's post:

Sitting at 4700 members strong, 5000 is just around the corner!

Tell yo wife, tell yo kids! Let's hit that 5000 member level in January!

So many Star Citizen backers are sitting dead orgs with no activity.

They just assume that all the orgs out there are dead because it is so early.

Get out there to your affiliate orgs and recruit these poor bastards!

Bring them to TEST and show them why we are the #1 most active organization in this game!

I think Dear Leader is asking for ideas on how to accomplish this. Well.....my suggestion is to make a new TEST Squadron intro video. It has been a long time and many things have changed since then. We need to highlight several things:

1. Who we are. We are not the same group from Eve
2. Why we are drunk.
3. Our mission to have fun
4. What our org specializes in(which is everything).
5. Our awesome fleet of Javelins, Idris and a whole host of exploration and fighting vessels.
6. Mumble and RSI chat
7. Our streamers, aka our most show off pilots.
8. Koalas because how else do people get Koalified to be in TEST?
9. And in closing just how awesome we are!

But seriously videos are just more engaging to people than just words. Imagine if Baron just wrote his accounts of playing AC. No one would be following him. And this is the serious part Montoya, you make good videos. Fact of the matter is we like your videos and others do too so it makes sense that you would make one for something like this and we can point to later when people ask about TEST.

I told my wife and she wants nothing to do with my internet shoes simulator.

Test members need to show more support for BadNewsBaron (as well as other streamers such as Captain Richard, Russian, Phoenix, Anarckos (sorry if I forgot some)) while these streamers continue to show support back to Test. We need to make sure we follow our members here and also show Test pride in their streams... hopefully pull more members (hopefully active members) into this future drunk tank of an organization....

The only problem is that its a big time sink.

Getting the material, getting a rough script, recording, re-recording, editing... some times its 3hrs, sometimes its 8hrs.

At the moment Im already putting 20-30hrs a week into running things, if I win the lottery I promise I will dedicate myself 24/7 to getting shit done! :D

Umm we all joined the Org... he can ask people to make videos and send them for review (kinda like a drunk murder board...where we sit around and mock the videos and then post the ones that "make the cut"... award these members with cool benefits such as the ability to sit at the big kids table on the Idris-P... or hookers).
