What's the spread on Galaxy pricing?

I'm assuming that I need to either A) mentally prepare myself to CCU something of value, or B) drink some number of beers to prepare my wallet in a bigger way.

I'm surprised to see this here. Didn't we come to understand this was an old design some employee at CIG leaked and there is no such ship planned for development? The design is old, and probably predates the Perseus. My guess is the Perseus is what was released instead of this.

Aye, I thought the same at first. Thenl I saw speculation on the CIG forums that both may be true: An old design was leaked and an RSI concept (with newer design) will be released. We will see if this bears out. CIG has maintained an RSI ship sale on the IAE calendar, however.

Looking at it more closely now, I'd guess they aim the RSI Galaxy in the low $500s bracket between RSI Phoenix ($350) and Perseus ($675)? There are not many low-mid $500s ships in general. So this would fill a pricing niche. The next RSI warship is the Polaris ($750).

The post from a CIG staff member about an old design\concept being leaked was in a thread about the Cutter, which had included specifications and an image for an "Exploration" variant of that ship. Had they been referring to the Galaxy, it would seem more likely they would have responded in one of those threads instead, and given we did not see an Exploration variant (or any variant, for that matter) of the Cutter appear, it is quite likely their post had nothing to do with the galaxy at all.

Indeed the post from Zyloth was obviously about the Cutter, not the Galaxy.

The Galaxy is coming, it is real and it will have modularity.

The Galaxy being put up for Concept sale on RSI day seems likely, but it meeting/exceeding what was in the leak isn't something I'd recommend anyone holding their breath over.
the jax clip from today starts by saying the RSI galaxy prototype didnt show, would be funny if it wasnt at the show at all.

If it turns out to be modular, I'm assuming the lower end of that spectrum. They will make up revenue by selling the modules. I'm guessing around $500 to $550.00 USD for the base model (cargo). No idea on the cost for the other modules. Based on past modules, they could run from $50.00 to $125.00. So getting a base model and the missing modules would be up to $700.00+. It will be a glorious day for RSI revenue.

Edit: if true ....
