Just in case no one knew but microsoft selling it at 699 usd which is 900 usd off up until december 1st or 4th not sure which. They are popping in and out of stock i almost had one but in cart it sold out.

Hey @Sirus7264, this looks like a fab monitor, but are you sure it's really discounted by that much?
Here in the UK (where the £ price is often usually very similar to the USD $ price), I found it listed for sale in a few major electrical retailers, and at Samsung UK, all in stock, at £949 (incl. tax and next day delivery), which at least a couple of these say is a discount of about £200 off MSRP:

I haven't seen the monitor and have no view on whether it's a good buy or not (it looks awesome in the marketing pics), but the USD $900 off might be... black friday exaggeration - are you able to check to see if it really is that big of a discount from its usual price?

Sells for $699 on Amazon and Newegg, normally sells for $999 but is on sale right now.
Ive been watching that monitor for a very long time also pound to usd the pound is 1.2 dollars to the pound. at 949 thats 1100 usd and 1149 is 1392 which is almost accurate. MSRP on samsung says 1499 and they even have it on sale currently for black friday at 899. 699 is a steal for this thing and yes at 240 fps 1440 resolution thats crazy priced for this size of a monitor. The CHG9 just went on sale i think yesterday for 499 which is only 500 usd off(MSRP is 999). I can't get them cause im in japan so they wont ship it here and getting it from someone i know in the states could be hard. you probably wont see this on sale again until next year most likely if ever.

I don't see the link for them being on sale for that price and didnt get a notification for the price drops. curently on newegg its 899 usd. Amazon is the same. Even the CRG9 is not on sale for 699. Can you show me the links?(im pretty sure you might be looking at the CHG9 or CRG9 not the G9 which have lower refresh rate)

i game on my phone very often and watch alot of movies when im out and about. i can't remember the last time i spent less than 1k on a phone lol but in all fairness i use that phone for like the next 5-6 years.

well maybe it's a sound investment then. Poeple like to change their phone every year. I use my cheap shit several years. But that monitor looks awesome (to get back on topic). I'm considiring actually not missing black friday offers this time
yeah black friday is looking decent this year(execept the NEX here in japan....). Who knows maybe i'll get lucky and family back in the states will snag me the monitor somehow lol.

So having been using the older version Samsung CRG9 for about 2 years now. . . I've been TOTALLY happy with the investment! Having such a wide screen without bezel interruptions is true gaming bliss! Not really worth it for me to upgrade to the C9, but obviously now it's the better monitor for a comparable price! Note that you do need a powerful enough graphics card to run the thing though; I'd say 3070 as a minimum!
Sadly looks like the sale is already over i have a feeling though that this wont be the last time we see it at that price though.
