Is it good at all though? I've heard it's not too great and mobs are bullet sponges.
I got into the closed beta on PS4 at the very last day, so didn't have much time to play around at all, and did that one mission. Only played about 1.5 hours total, didn't even try Dark Zone.
Open Beta, on PC, I've really played around, but not to the point of some players min/maxing stats and loot.
I got almost all blue stuff in the end, at 8/12, and tried to farm to get one of those yellow weapons with random groups, but going "accidentally rogue" because of a team mate is extremely punishing, especially when you're not properly geared for it. My stuff was more or less all over the place, stats pretty much balanced throughout, but from some videos of guys going 1v3 or even this one 1v6, they've been going DPS/Tank for their solo run, with optimized gear.
This is a very VERY RPG 3rd person shooter, where stats actually matter, and your loot/strategy determine your outcome more than your gun skill. Although, if you can't land a shot, it won't do you any good neither, but gear/level/stats is a lot more heavily weighed.
I can see myself playing this more, than pure FPS gunskill game like Counter-Strike or Call of Duty, where I'm horrible at.
