if you guys would be so kind as to bump this thread (assuming you read it, and agree with the idea), I would deeply appreciate it

For those who may not be able to read it on Spectrum:

Hello all! I am curious about stellar things in Star Citizen

I was looking at information on the known star types in SC at present. I see the standard types on the Hertzsprung - Russell Diagram , but curious about magnetars and other exotic star types (as defined https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exotic_star ). I have an Endeavor specifically to go see, explore, and research these stellar bodies

Also, I am curious if CIG is connecting with any universities or scientific bodies, to connect us (the players doing research) with real world information to help scientists analyze data. I realize that may not be possible or realistic, but as someone who has his desktop running for SETI, I'd be remiss to not ask

For details of astronomical phenomena, see the Loremakers Guide series. They always put nuggets of info in about interesting stellar phenomena and such. Hence systems like Null, are centered on a classical Cepheid Variable star.

They are planning to fill the verse with cool stuff to study!
I'm a big fan of their lore series, but hoping they'll look at my idea :D

I think they did consort with Scientists when making the Star System making tools, so fingers crossed that also included what stars will be there...

I think Tyrol would be a bit of a dud if they didn't have some solid science backing up the knife-edge star in that system - It'll go Nova one day and when that happens i'm running like hell... but what a game-event it will be!
