I think i preordered it, which should give me access. I'll check and let you know.
Edit: Ok, I have beta access, it's just not working. Apparently other people have the same issue, according to their twitter, but their website seems to be down so i can't tell.
Edit #2: Turns out the version that appeared in my library isn't the actual version? Weird. Anyways, i found the actual version and I'm installing it. We'll see if I get the same error. (I'm going to go ahead and blame windows store for this. There's a reason I don't use it.)
Edit #3: (Why is this so bloody complicated.) It seems to be working now, or at least of gotten to the menu. That took way too much fiddling around, though.

It's surprisingly fun, actually. I crewed up with 3 randoms and we sailed around doing pirate things, and getting smashed on grog.
There was a tech support page on their website that I grabbed that link from, but it didn't work for me either. I ended up manually searching the store for it (Another reason to hate windows store, eh?). i've followed the instructions multiple times and it just straight up doesnt want to work for me, keep getting the "its too early"
OK, well, I've found a workaround, though it's a bit... sketchy. Apparently the too early thing only happens from microsoft store orders (Ha! I knew they were the problem. :grin:) So if you cancel your order from microsoft, they'll give you a refund, then just get it off of amazon.

Or instead, the 'official fix', according to their twitter, is to get 'Xbox insider hub' (not even sure what that is, tbh)and then grab the beta from there.

Both of these are stupid fixes, but oh well. Just more reasons not to use microsoft store. :face_palm:

Cancelled my pre-order from the Microsoft store, pre-ordered on amazon for the Xbox One digital copy, have yet to receive an email with the code to the beta.... FML this shit is annoying.
