I'm holding out hope that they stick to their statement of still being independent of Facebook. The claimed that the main goal of Oculus Rift wouldn't change... I really want it just to be a change of ownership rather than a change of direction.

I wish I could believe that. But some of the quotes from Zuckerberg do nothing to encourage me...

Yea lol I saw that and from a politic standard point, I think SC should do the same. It's a big risk to keep rolling with it. Like Seung wrote. If there ended up being any sort of add targeting, well then OR would instantly become a nuisance doing the complete opposite for the game of what it was meant to; bringing immersion.
