The use of graffiti nose art on aircraft began with Italians and Germans, with the practice escalating during WWI as a means identify friendly craft/squadron. But, according to Wikipedia, "the practice evolved to express the individuality...to evoke memories of home and peacetime life, and as a kind of psychological protection against the stresses of war and the probability of death." For example, during WWII USAAF aircraft graffiti ranged the spectrum - anything from Rita Hayworth, Betty Grable, Donald Duck, Bugs Bunny, Popeye, Yankee Doodle, Sam Spade, to playing cards. In contrast, the USA Navy was a stick-in-the-mud and did not permit nose art. Nose art is used to this day around the world.

Wouldn't it be cool if CIG would allow us to graffiti our ships with personalized nose art! Surely by the year 2954 the UEE Navy would permit nose art. If you could, what artwork would you adorn your ship with?

For my Anvil Paladin, I might consider:
Guardians of the Galaxy ...

In the game X2 your player avatar was automatically your nose art. My avatar here was my avatar in that game, it was ever so cool to see a frowning wheelie bin on the hull of a Paranid Odysseus as it obliterated Khaa'k clusters with its suite of wave generators.

That's such a cool idea! That gives new meaning to 'dumpster fire' as your ship goes down in flames after Montoya get's on your six. Must not have been keeping the guild space station tidy enough for his liking...what a neat freak :)
